Ranking All The New Movie Trailers From Worst To Best

7. Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Batman V Superman was already one of the most fiercely dissected upcoming movies. Ever since Zack Snyder turned the sequel to 2013's biggest disappointment, Man Of Steel, into a Batman reboot-cum-Justice League prequel, the internet's been unable to decide if this is going to be a geek-event that makes The Avengers look like The Incredible Hulk or an epic failure that sends Warner Bros. scrambling for the reboot button. And the teaser, hastily released online after a crappy camera-phone version leaked early, has only amplified the divide; those who are on-board are only more stoked, the doubters (or, if you're an extremist, haters) only have more to dislike. And those on the fence have only found themselves siding more with the latter. Now, even if you like Batman taunting Superman with a childish "you will" and the autopilot Hans Zimmer score and the overly saturated image and the director's refusal to move on from his heightened 300 style, you have to admit that making a divisive movie more divisive isn't what this footage should be doing. As the first, studio-approved glimpse of the film, this should have been targeted at getting Marvel-like waves of positive hype. With a directionless, dark jumble, all it's done is made things worse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwfUnkBfdZ4
