The Verdict: A testament to the benefit of low expectations, Unfriended takes its rather ridiculous gimmick (that the entire movie is set on a computer screen) and totally runs with it. The result is an impressively intense horror flick which deliberately flouts genre convention numerous times even if the teen characters are for the most part rather irritating.
