RottenTomatoes Score: 61% (5.8/10) Box Office: Produced on a tiny $1 million budget, Unfriended has made an impressive $18.3 million at the box office after just one week, practically ensuring that a sequel will be on the way before you know it. The Verdict: A testament to the benefit of low expectations, Unfriended takes its rather ridiculous gimmick (that the entire movie is set on a computer screen) and totally runs with it. The result is an impressively intense horror flick which deliberately flouts genre convention numerous times even if the teen characters are for the most part rather irritating. Still, it does a solid job with a potentially rickety concept, and proves to be a testament to the power of ideas over money. Just don't make it the next Paranormal Activity, Universal...
