Ranking April 2015's Movies From Worst To Best

3. The Water Diviner

RottenTomatoes Score: 61% (5.9/10) Box Office: The movie cost $22.5 million to make and after this weekend (when it has a limited opening in the U.S.), it should be at around $25 million in sales. Not really a success, then. The Verdict: Russell Crowe's feature directorial debut received mixed notices for the actor's work behind the camera, though near-universal applause for his effort in front of it. There's an unexpected earnestness here which you have to be prepared to accept, but if you can, The Water Diviner is a potent anti-war film, even if not everything here works from both a scripting and directing standpoint. For a debut, though, it's undeniably ambitious.
