Box Office: The indie horror landed bang-on opening weekend projections and has doubled its $5 million budget to date. Not the sort of roaring success the Blumhouse label is used to, but it's easy to imagine this one becoming a cult hit on home video.

Verdict: A watchable high concept thriller but ultimately far from the outrageous "Office Space meets Battle Royale" romp you want it to be, The Belko Experiment sadly takes itself way too seriously to be much fun, even with solid performances and some entertaining bursts of brutal violence.

Ultimately the fast-rising body count ends up feeling quite monotonous, and the sequel-baiting ending will leave many viewers simply rolling their eyes.
