Ranking April 2017's Movies From Worst To Best
13. Going In Style
RottenTomatoes Score: 45% (5.3/10)
Box Office: Opening decently above expectations, Going in Style has doubled its $25 million production budget so far. Don't bet against the cruelly under served 80+ age demographic, apparently.
Verdict: It's not big or clever, but there is a sure appeal to seeing Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Alan Arkin pulling off a ridiculous heist against the odds.
Zach Braff basically pimps himself out here as a Hollywood hack-for-hire, but thanks to the inherent charm of the three leads, it's an easy, lightly enjoyable sit, if ultimately quite forgettable and totally unoriginal.
Basically, your grandparents will love it.
