Box Office: The acclaimed indie black comedy has grossed $2.8 million to date on limited release, but will clearly do much better business at home. No budgetary data is available, but it certainly didn't cost much to make.

Verdict: While it'll inevitably be remembered as Anton Yelchin's final released movie, Thoroughbreds is a delicious black comedy propelled by fantastic lead work from Anya Taylor-Joy and Olivia Cooke in particular.

Stylish and even ambitiously directed, scripted with an uproarious acid tongue and delicately switching gears between hilarity and grimness, this tale of two sociopathic young women plotting to murder one of their stepfathers earmarks writer-director Cory Finley as one hell of a talent to watch.
