RottenTomatoes Score: 74% (6.4/10)

Box Office: Charlize Theron's slick new action thriller has more-than-doubled its $30 million budget worldwide, and though it opened slightly below expectations, it's still a decent enough success, and certainly comparable to the theatrical run of the first John Wick.

Verdict: Another stylistically dazzling actioner from John Wick director David Leitch, Atomic Blonde sees Charlize Theron in peak form as an a**-kicking femme fatale.

While it's unquestionably a style-over-substance affair and the contrived plot can't begin to live up to the gonzo action sequences, the set-pieces are entertaining enough that it's tough to care all that much.

Sure, more could've been done with the likes of Sofia Boutella, John Goodman and Toby Jones, but if you want to see Theron absolutely dismantling dozens of men with her awesome fighting chops, this certainly hits the spot.
