With Best Popular Film postponed, this is still the one category where you're guaranteed to find the ballot filled by blockbusters, and Marvel have had eight movies nominated here since the MCU started.

They should reach double figures in 2019, with Infinity War and Black Panther both likely. The latter does have some CGI issues in its third act, but the scale means you'd expect it to get a nomination nonetheless (for reference, the Star Wars prequels and The Hobbit trilogy got plenty of noms here, despite some at times wonky effects).

Chances Of Nomination: 8/10

Chances Of Winning: There are movies with better and bigger CGI here, and indeed the main competition might come from Infinity War itself, which is a more deserving winner. 5/10
