Ranking Every Animated Batman Film From Worst To Best

17. Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts

Again, we have the exact same situation as with the other two Batman Unlimited films. It's aimed directly at kids and while it's nothing particularly special, it does its job well enough. However, this one ranks higher than the first two, as it was the first film in the trilogy and is clearly the one that had the most effort put into it.

The fight scenes are a touch better than in the others, the voice acting is sound, and all of the various characters involved, Batman included, are portrayed rather well.

There's also a semi-decent and even somewhat novel premise (before the sequel used the same idea), with the dynamic between the various animal-themed who have joined forces actually working rather well. Their plan is silly, yes, but once again, this film is just some good harmless fun.

The truly sad thing about the Batman Unlimited films, however, is that despite being made solely to sell toys to kids, they're still more enjoyable than The Killing Joke adaptation.
