Ranking Every Disney Princess From Worst To Best

Aurora is more or less just another Snow White. The only difference is that Aurora has slightly more development due to her naïveté at the beginning of the movie.

As a newborn, she was cursed to "sleep like death" as the sun sets on her 16th birthday thanks to the villainous fairy Maleficent, who was offended at not being invited to her baby shower. So, for the first 16 years of her life, she lives in a secluded cottage in the woods with three nice fairies who help hide her.

So, at the beginning of the movie, it's understandable why she does a lot of the things that Snow White does: she sings and dances with animals, she cleans, she's apprehensive towards men who randomly approach her, sure - that's pretty much all she knows given her living situation. But at the end of the day, she doesn't do much else other than that.

And she's only awake for about 20 minutes of the movie, so she's given very little chance to show us who she truly is. Maybe she could've been more complex if given more screen time, but 63 years later, I guess we'll never know...
