Ranking Every Disney Princess From Worst To Best
10. Cinderella - Cinderella

Sure, Cinderella might be a timeworn "fairytale ending," but consider this:
At the beginning of the movie, Cinderella is treated like absolute garbage. Her stepsisters are awful to her, and her stepmother, Lady Tremaine, her only parental figure after both of her parents die, is one of the cruelest and most sadistic villains in Disney's pantheon. Cinderella worked her tail-end off for these horrendous human beings for so long without any expectation of recompense.
She deserved the happy ending. She deserved the horse and carriage. She deserved the beautiful dress. She deserved to be the belle of the ball. She deserved to be the object of Prince Charming's affections, just as her stepfamily deserved to seethe in the distance about it all after the fact.
Beyond that, however, it would be difficult to rank her any higher, as sympathizing with a character doesn't automatically give them more dimension. She still suffers from many of the dated character archetypes that Snow White and Aurora do - she's pretty, she's sweet, she cooks, she cleans, she has cute animal friends, and that's really all there is to her.
