Ranking Every Final Destination Death From Worst To Best
19. Stifler Loses His Head (Billy Hitchcock - Final Destination)
Final Destination was released shortly after Seann William Scott made a name for himself as irrepressible a**hole Steve Stifler in American Pie, and his character here, Billy Hitchcock, wasn't much more endearing.
And so, it was tremendously funny to see him offed in such aggressively harsh fashion, with a train catapulting a metal shard of debris at his head, instantly decapitating him.
Between the naff practical effect of the severed head and Billy's corpse standing up for a few extra seconds sans-head, this is a real gut-buster.
18. Goodbye, Carter (Carter Horton - Final Destination)
The first film's deliciously entertaining ending sees Alex, Clear, and Carter (Kerr Smith) hanging out in Paris a year after Death appears to have moved on from them.
But of course, Carter ends up saving Alex from sure death, only to put himself in the frame. Just as he asks, "Who's next?", a gigantic sign swings into view behind him, sealing his fate as we cut to black.
Despite not actually showing Carter's death, this scene was both a legitimate surprise and ended the film on a darkly comedic note.
