15. Dr. No
This might seem like a low ranking for the film which introduced us to Bond, James Bond, especially so when you consider its undoubted iconography: the immortal uttering of that line above, Ursula Andress's Honey Rider emerging from the water like a beautiful apparition, Joseph Wiseman's eponymous super-villain setting the bar for future Bond madmen. None of that is in question, but it remains that, despite the above, there's simply better Bond to come, and certainly better Connery Bond. Dr. No helped pave the way for the motifs that 007 would become synonymous with, but it wasn't until the next few Connery instalments that we would truly get to see the best examples of Bond in his classic incarnation.
