7. Maggie Baird - Birds Of Prey
The story of Birds of Prey is a rather interesting one. It was ultimately a lacklustre affair, but was also admirably ambitious in its attempt to give the female residents of Gotham their time in the limelight.
Especially when you consider it came out at a time when DC was still trying to regain legitimacy in the years following Batman & Robin. Unfortunately, while the show's premiere was a record-setting one for The WB, the ratings soon took a nosedive and the series was cancelled after only one season.
To say that Catwoman was a minor player in this series would, frankly, be an overstatement. Fair enough, the show wasn't really meant to be about her, as it focused mostly on her daughter, Helena Kyle (aka Huntress), as well as Black Canary and Oracle, but even then, she was noticeably underused.
Throughout the show, Maggie Baird's Catwoman only appears in flashback sequences that depicted the events leading up to her death and Batman's departure from Gotham in the years prior to the show's beginning. These flashbacks were very few and far between and Catwoman had practically no lines.
On the bright side, at least she wasn't fighting over skin cream this time.
