Ranking Every Magnificent Seven Character From Worst To Best
5. Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt)
Sure, Chris Pratt may just be playing "Old West Star-Lord", but is that really a bad thing? His wise-cracking, booze-drinking, rootin' tootin' gambler provides a ton of comic relief and ensures that the tone stays on the right side of fun even when things get brutal.
From his hilarious card trick distraction early on to his totally bada** and unexpected death scene (pulling out surprise dynamite in order to obliterate the remainder of Bogue's men), Pratt is as reliably entertaining as expected, even if he doesn't push the boat out in terms of evolving his fairly standard fun-loving action hero type.
He's certainly not the highlight of the movie, but pretty much delivers everything you'd both hope for.
