Ranking: Every MCU Final Battle From Worst To Best

This one inevitably suffers in trying so blatantly to outdo the first movie, but it's still fun even if it absolutely pales.

Much of it feels too similar to the first movie, namely that anonymous minions attack a helpless city while the Avengers effortlessly destroy them.

Some of the more memorable moments include the sheer demented nature of Ultron's plan (to lift a chunk of Sokovia into the sky and slam it back down), Quicksilver wrecking anything that gets in his way, the unexpected amount of time devoted to showing civilians being rescued, Hawkeye commenting on the ridiculousness of it all, Quicksilver's death, and Vision's final confrontation with Ultron.

Rating: The novelty effect of the original's final battle just isn't there, and it's nowhere near as exciting as a result. It's still totally enjoyable without question, but merely good rather than great. 7/10
