Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best
75. Grand Isle (2019)
Another zero-percenter on the Tomatometer now, with last year's southern fried thriller Grand Isle. Cage is at least amusing here as a sleazeball drunk, though the show is thoroughly stolen by his sexy screen spouse KaDee Strickland.
Kelsey Grammer meanwhile stops by for a performance that feels mailed-in from another continent, yet despite its unique psycho-sexual tone, as a piece of dramatic storytelling it's a mostly airless misfire.
74. Amos & Andrew (1993)
As inherently appealing as the teaming of Cage and Samuel L. Jackson for a buddy action comedy is, Amos & Andrew's howlingly on-the-nose script can't make much sense of its intriguing setup.
If it bungles a potential commentary on race relations, Cage and Jackson are at least solid enough in the central roles to keep this thing the right side of compulsively watchable.
