Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best
67. Zandalee (1991)
Though one of Cage's lesser-known movies, Zandalee is probably overdue some sort of re-evaluation, if only because it's such a memorably peculiar piece of work.
A decidedly un-sexy erotic thriller albeit one which perhaps only becomes more transfixing as a result, Zandalee is perhaps a failure of its original intent, but kinda-sorta works as a s**thouse art experiment gone awry.
Plus, the cast includes the likes of Judge Reinhold, Joe Pantoliano, Steve Buscemi, and Marisa Tomei.
66. Vengeance: A Love Story (2017)
Adapted from the 2003 novel Rape: A Love Story, this is far more of a drama than the revenge thriller it was marketed as, and though it certainly handles the subject of rape with no tact whatsoever, the project does ultimately seem more well-meaning than exploitative.
Though Cage is only here for about a third of the movie, he delivers a fittingly sober performance, while the rest of the cast fills his absence well enough. Not one for those expecting high-wire Cage, but unexpectedly watchable.
