Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best

63. Ghost Rider (2007)

Though few if any people will rank Ghost Rider among their favourite superhero movies, it isn't nearly as bad as many like to profess.

While it ultimately plays things way too safe with an actor like Cage at the helm, it's watchable in the very least as it cycles through the familiar superhero origin beats, slathered in a middling battery of visual effects.

62. Sonny (2002)

Though Cage only cameos in this James Franco-led crime thriller, it makes the list anyway because this was also Cage's first and only feature directing credit.

With its meandering pace, poor dialogue, and visually slack direction, it's ultimately really only memorable for Cage's insane cameo as a gay pimp called Acid Yellow, seemingly confirming where his artistic strengths lie in the process.
