Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best
59. Kill Chain (2019)
Despite its daft title, Kill Chain is at least a step above typical Cage VOD tosh, even though he doesn't show up properly until the movie's second half.
What keeps it chugging along nicely is some surprisingly sharp visuals, well-crafted action sequences, and dialogue that crackles with a knowingly pulpy wit.
Narrative-wise it's nothing you haven't seen before, and Cage perhaps plays things a little too low-key for the most part, but it at least has a distinct visual identity and stands out to that effect.
58. Seeking Justice (2011)
Ditching its gloriously barmy original title - The Hungry Rabbit Jumps - for the more market-friendly "Seeking Justice," this revenge flick sees Cage play a - don't laugh - English teacher seeking revenge for his wife's (January Jones) brutal assault.
This is a pure meat-and-potatoes 'venge thriller and does nothing you haven't seen dozens of times before, though at least Guy Pearce is hammy fun as the villain.
