Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best
33. Honeymoon In Vegas (1992)
While lightweight to a fault, this throwback screwball comedy once again confirmed Cage's comedic might, playing Jack Singer, a sap who gets tricked into losing $65,000 in a poker game by a professional gambler (James Caan), who agrees to clear the debt if he can spend a weekend with his girlfriend (Sarah Jessica Parker).
Yes, it's wacky-with-a-capital-W, but it's the sort of film that begs not to be overthought: it's just a fun ride with some silly shenanigans - that's it. Oh, and a young Bruno Mars cameos as a pint-sized Elvis impersonator. Seriously.
32. Mom & Dad (2017)
Though it's slightly disappointing that Cage's role in this is smaller than the trailer suggested, Mom and Dad is another bats**t romp from Crank and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance co-director Brian Taylor.
Cage is magnificently bonkers as one of the many suburban parents who suddenly turns murderous on their own offspring.
Paired with a similarly inclined Selma Blair, the two are outrageously entertaining in this mental satire of family dynamics, awash in nutty violence as it is.
