Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best
29. Kiss Of Death (1995)
Though relatively routine as crime thrillers go, Kiss of Death is brought to life by Nicolas Cage's terrifying performance as the asthmatic psychopath Little Junior Brown.
Cage is so damn good here - and so damn jacked - that he effortlessly wrestles the movie away from David Caruso every time he's on screen, lending some necessary intensity to a film that otherwise feels slackly directed by Barbet Schroeder.
28. Peggy Sue Got Married (1986)
Cage re-teamed with his uncle Francis Ford Coppola for this thrice-Oscar-nominated fantasy dramedy about a depressed woman (Kathleen Turner) who faints at her high school reunion and wakes up 25 years prior.
Cage plays her husband/boyfriend (in that order) Charlie, in a performance that remains divisive to fans of the movie - and also star Turner - to this day.
Much like Turner, many feel that Cage's madcap performance, defined by those prominent false teeth, was at odds with the tone Turner and Coppola were shooting for.
Either way, it didn't much hurt the film's status as a card-carrying classic.
