Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best

79. Between Worlds (2018)

Between Worlds is undeniably one of the weirdest films in Cage's entire filmography. Despite looking like any typical Cage streaming vehicle, this aggressively oddball thriller is basically a canvas for the actor to work out his inner demons.

Sleazy, full of sex scenes, and even boasting a fascinatingly meta sequence in which Cage reads from a book called "Memories by Nicolas Cage" in the middle of a sex sesh, this lingers in the mind far easier than you'd reasonably expect.

78. Bangkok Dangerous (2008)

It says a lot that this action-thriller remake is best remembered for its outrageously awful poster, and not the staggeringly bland slice of genre guff that it actually is.

For a movie helmed by the very same filmmakers who made the 1999 Thai original, it sure does feel like a pedestrian attempt at westernisation, and not even Cage's mop-haired assassin can elevate it much with his sheer existence.

Cage's sullen, no-effort one-liner sure is funny, though - "My name is Joe. This is what I do."
