Ranking Every Stan Lee Marvel Movie Cameo From Worst To Best

17. Man in Fair - Spider-Man

In the early days you never expected much from the cameos. The second (after X-Men) came in Spider-Man and although it's still a short appearance from Stan, it works much better than the first. The Green Goblin throws one of his pumpkin bombs are a building, sending debris flying and the crowd into a frenzy. We get a quick shot of Lee, before cutting away, then back again to him protecting a little girl. Maybe it's the look of shock on his face, or the chivalrous actions but this cameo just about makes up for its brevity. The Spider-Man 2 appearance was very similar to this, hence why it placed so low.

16. Waterhose Man - X-Men: The Last Stand

Lee didn't cameo in X-Men 2 due to location difficulties, so you'd have hoped they'd have made up for that with his appearance in The Last Stand. Sadly Brett Ratner and co. didn't put in much effort at all, delivering something mildly funny but unmemorable. In the opening when Jean Grey first shows Xavier and Magneto her powers, gravity on her street reverses, sending the water from the hosepipe of a very confused Stan Lee upwards. It's OK we guess.
