Ranking: Every Tom Cruise Action Movie From Worst To Best

Unfortunately, Cruise's last action vehicle is a woefully generic action flick bereft of anything approaching an interesting plot or memorable characters.

Sure, the chemistry between Cruise and the terrific Cobie Smulders is fun to watch, and there are intermitent bursts of decent action, but Never Go Back is a rare truly lazy sequel in Cruise's filmography, and it's simply baffling that he'd sign off on such a low-effort script at this point in his career.

It's exactly the sort of movie you watch on Netflix when you've got absolutely nothing else to do on a hungover Sunday afternoon.

Best Moment: Reacher's final fistfight against The Hunter (Patrick Heusinger), which ends in a stunningly hilarious fashion that shan't be spoiled here.
