Green Lantern meets Men In Black as an older, veteran Hal Jordan takes John Stewart under his wing to train him up as a Lantern.

Positives?

The concept sounds great, and if they can get the right blend of Men In Black and Top Gun it will be very entertaining indeed. Also, though past adaptations have rather indelicately fudged the effects work, if they can come up with a way of making the Lanterns' powers translate onto the big screen, we're going to be in for a spectacle like no other.

Concerns?

David S Goyer writing is either a great thing or a terrible one - depending very much on which Goyer turns up for the job - and it's going to be very hard to shake off the spectre of the Ryan Reynolds Lantern movie until we start to get some concrete information here.

Also, if the effects are too much - as they were in Reynolds' version - it'll be another hollow cartoon.
