RottenTomatoes Score: 76% (6.8/10) Box Office: With an estimated $6-7 million budget, Michael Moore's latest doc has made roughly half that back on a limited theatrical engagement of approximately 300 cinemas. Verdict: You pretty much know what you're getting with a Michael Moore movie, though his first film in six years is a little more heartfelt than usual, skewing America's socio-economic inequality with his usual wit and humour, while making a serious point about how the U.S. lags behind countless European countries when it comes to general welfare. It has an infuriating, sad message even if this is occasionally upended by Moore's own desire to hog the frame while making a serious point, and though not among his very best films, is another impactful missive nonetheless.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
