Ranking February 2016's Movies From Worst To Best

16. Gods Of Egypt

RottenTomatoes Score: 12% (3.4/10) Box Office: Budgeted at a huge $140 million, Gods Of Egypt was launched as Lionsgate's next big franchise... and grossed just $14.1 million in its opening weekend. To date the film has made roughly $40 million worldwide, ensuring it's set to be one of the year's most catastrophic box office bombs. Verdict: The writing has been on the wall about this one for months, and unsurprisingly, Gods Of Egypt is an atrociously bad mix of whitewashed actors giving terrible performances, hysterically awful CGI, forced dialogue and a run-time that's at least 30 minutes too long. It's especially depressing because, once upon a time, Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City) was a talented director, but now he's too busy calling film critics "diseased vultures" when they summarily take a dump on his terrible film. At least it's destined to live on as a "so bad it's...good?" classic with drunk students the world over.
