Ranking February 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

9. The Founder

RottenTomatoes Score: 82% (7.2/10)

Box Office: The $25 million drama about the genesis of McDonalds has made just $19 million despite considerable awards hype for Michael Keaton's performance.

Verdict: Keaton gives a terrific, awards-worthy turn in one of the year's most underrated films, at least as far as awards plaudits go.

Pro-tip: don't try to watch this film on an empty stomach, because you'll absolutely lose yourself to the nearest fast food establishment once it's over.

Impressively making you crave a Big Mac while not feeling like a mere advert for the mammoth burger chain, The Founder echoes The Social Network in its best moments, and is a fascinating examination of unfettered, often grotesque ambition.
