2. Drunken Master 2 - The 8 Drunken Immortals Rise Again
Jackie's Role: Wong Fei Hung (a different one), a happy-go-lucky twenty-year-old martial artist who looks far older than he should, has a step-mother who looks far younger than he is, and has a low-tolerance for alcohol. Oh, and he must stop some shady shady politician from stealing Chinese artifacts. The Bad Guy: Ken Lo, a well-dressed henchman who is Jackie Chan's real-life bodyguard and a kick-boxer who is so fast and flexible that he makes Jean-Claude Van Damme look like an amateur. The Fight: The fight begins with a sober Jackie being completely overwhelmed by Ken's machine-gun fire kicks and aggression. Just to stack the odds even further against himself, Jackie is kicked into a bed of burning coals. Seeing the large hole he's gotten himself into, Jackie says 'screw it' and drinks himself into a stupor with some conveniently placed industrial alcohol. From here, the tide changes dramatically as the Eight Drunken Immortals make a much-welcomed return and Ken's rapid-fire kickboxing is no match for Jackie's drunken boxing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DASVxFS5tg This fight is like a quasi-sequel to the Jackie's boss fights in Young Master and the original Drunken Master. The big bad has an affinity for kicking, Jackie initially has his ass kicked, he ingests some sort of alcohol or performance-enhancing liquid McGuffin, and wins by going completely berserk.
My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem.
Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh.
