Ranking January 2015's Movies From Worst To Best

7. Kingsman: The Secret Service

RottenTomatoes Score: 81% (6.7 out of 10), from a handful of mostly British critics. Box Office: Budgetary information hasn't been released and the film has only hit UK cinemas this week, so the movie's financial complexion won't be clear until the U.S. release in mid-February. Matthew Vaughn delivers his third consecutive adaptation of a comic book, and the results are, once again, deliriously entertaining, even if this is probably the worst of the three movies. A witty, energetic send-up of the spy flicks everyone's seen a billion times, Kingsman finds Colin Firth in stellar form alongside impressive newcomer Taron Egerton, who is sure to become a star in the wake of the movie's release. The action sizzles even if some of the cinematography is a tad too frantic for its own good, and above all else, this is a movie dripping with personality. This is totally not the sort of quality movie audiences are used to seeing in January (and if you're American, you won't).
