Ranking January 2015's Movies From Worst To Best

14. The Woman In Black 2: Angel Of Death

RottenTomatoes Score: 22% (4.6 out of 10) Box Office: This Daniel Radcliffe-less sequel was never going to match the mega-success of the original movie (which scored an insane $127.7 million against a mere $15 million budget), and has grossed $26 million to date, which while in excess of an estimated $10-12 million budget (an official figure hasn't been disclosed), makes it a modest success at best. A glorified straight-to-video sequel that somehow made it to cinemas, Angel Of Death is a shockingly tedious horror film that subsists largely on lame jump scares and a wealth of haunted house cliches. Performances throughout are decent and there's some atmosphere to the piece, but it's painfully dry and boring, and by the time the ending arrives (complete with one final jump scare, of course), you'll only be concerned with getting the hell out of the cinema.
