RottenTomatoes Score: 18% (3.7/10) Box Office: No financial information is available for the film, but given its mega low-key release, it's hard to imagine much success. Verdict: It was either mightily brave or mightily stupid of Scott Eastwood to place himself in a western, given his father's mastery of the genre and the inevitable comparisons that will follow. Sadly, though Eastwood boasts the grit and chops to make it work, Diablo is a largely boring entry into the genre that does nothing new and is tough to commend beyond the involvement of Walton Goggins and some gorgeous cinematography. Try again, Scott, but maybe be a little more discerning next time.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
