Ranking: Liam Neeson's Action Movies From Worst To Best

1. Batman Begins

And finally, it's easily the best action film of Liam Neeson's career, and though he doesn't take the titular starring role, his part is significant enough to earn it a place on this list, and first place no less. The actor is superbly, suavely villainous as Ra's al Ghul, initially presenting himself to Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) as his League of Shadows mentor Henri Ducard, but eventually revealing his true identity later in the movie with great relish. Neeson gets his hands dirty several times in the movie, sparring with Bale and setting in motion the devious fear toxin plot of the movie's second half, before of course eventually being left to die by Batman on a runaway train. Neeson is fantastically restrained in the part, a polar opposite to the more theatrical villains of the subsequent Nolan Batman movies, and given the high critical and fan love for the film (in large part due to his work), no other movie could take the #1 spot.
