Ranking March 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

1. Get Out

Get Out Allison Williams Daniel Kaluuya
Universal Pictures

RottenTomatoes Score: 99% (8.3/10)

Box Office: An astronomical word-of-mouth hit for the ever-successful Blumhouse Productions, the $4.5 million horror satire has made an insane $165 million to date, pulling back more than 35x its production cost. Pretty great for a movie broaching such timely themes.

Verdict: Jordan Peele (Keanu) earmarks himself as one of the most fascinating filmmakers working today with this ludicrously entertaining horror movie that scathingly mocks liberal white racism with sure, barbed wit.

Daniel Kaluuya gives an excellent central performance as the easy-to-root-for protagonist, while Peele keeps the turns coming thick and fast all the way through to that uproarious final scene. Don't be shocked if it ends up with a Best Picture nomination early next year. It would be thoroughly deserving.
