Ranking March 2018's Movies From Worst To Best

1. You Were Never Really Here

RottenTomatoes Score: 89% (8.7/10)

Box Office: Lynne Ramsay's cult thriller is just shy of scooping $3 million worldwide, and though it'll get a slight boost from its U.S. release in early April, this one would be lucky to cover its (admittedly small) production costs.

Verdict: At just 89 minutes in length, there's not an ounce of fat on this deliriously entertaining thriller, taking a typical genre film formula and infusing it with Ramsay's dreamlike direction and one of Joaquin Phoenix's strongest performances to date.

Destined to become a cult favourite in years to come, the stomach-churning violence and beautiful visuals bely a psychologically complex tale that lingers long in the mind after it's all said and done.
