15. The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence)

RottenTomatoes Score: 8% (1.3/10 average) Box Office: The Human Centipede III forwent a traditional theatrical release in favour of a VOD bow, but considering that the previous two movies made just $181k and $141k at the box office respectively, there's not much reason to expect this one to do particularly well. Even so, with paltry profits like that, how the hell did this series even last three movies? The Verdict: If you (for some reason) decided to put yourself through Tom Six's latest examination of the relationship between the mouth and butt, you pretty much know what's coming: scatological humour, gore, sexual assault, dark humour, self-awareness and so on. The film's certainly not boring, though ultimately Six's most ambitious of the three films feels too often like shock for no sake but its own.
