Ranking: Nicolas Cage's Insane Hairstyles From Worst To Best

Outside any context of the film's plot Cage may look absolutely ridiculous here, but as far as imprisoned criminals go, he gives the long-haired look a surprisingly solid sell.

You might laugh at his flowing locks, but to Cage's credit he got pretty damn jacked for the role, so you sure as hell wouldn't laugh at him to his face.

It's hard not to compare Cage to a wrestler here, which is pretty apt as this is probably what he would've looked like if he took the lead role in The Wrestler (which he originally planned to do before side-stepping to let Mickey Rourke take it).

It's got that dry, conditioner-starved look to it that just screams "prisoner", and totally adds to Cage's bada**ery.
