Ranking November 2016's Movies - From Worst To Best
1. Paterson
RottenTomatoes Score: 96% (8.7/10)
Box Office: Financial information is currently unavailable as the film has only just begun its rollout in Germany and the UK.
Verdict: Another masterwork from the brilliant Jim Jarmusch, Paterson wrings a terrifically understated performance out of Adam Driver as a bus driver who moonlights as a poet.
While it's not about anything especially "important", the film examines how art is both created and enjoyed, while presenting a protagonist who, to be honest, doesn't have a huge ton of conflict in his life.
Wryly funny and refreshingly laid back, this won't be "about" enough for some tastes, but it's nevertheless deeply human and thoroughly engaging.
