Box Office: The eighth entry into the Rocky franchise may be the most expensive of the lot, but a $50 million price tag for a glossy sports movie starring a couple of A-listers sure isn't a bad result.

Creed II's five-day North American opening was a significant step-up from the previous film's, which puts it in good stead to sail past Creed's $173.5 million final worldwide total.

In short, Creed III is definitely happening.

Verdict: A predictable and sometimes cheesy sequel that nevertheless succeeds thanks to terrific performances, solid direction and its unexpected emotional punch, Creed II sees the series in fighting form even if this should probably be the last round for the franchise.
