Rotten Tomatoes Score: 72% (6.5/10)

Box Office: Despite a low budget, flashy marketing campaign and opening on a surprisingly high 1,403 screens in North America, the satirical thriller has only barely cracked $2 million worldwide.

Verdict: It gets zero points for subtlety and doesn't have much time for rich characters, but this blissfully frenetic, R-rated black comedy about the violent fallout of a data hack certainly captures America - if not the world - in all of its present disgrace.

With a barbed examination of a generation's obsession with social media, Trump-era politics and contemporary feminism, the movie may seem too self-consciously edgy for some tastes, but despite its slightly overlong run-time, this is propulsive, energetic filmmaking that's sure to appeal to its target audience perfectly.
