November sure was a jam-packed month at the movies, whether you ventured out to the cinema or stayed in the warm and stuck to VOD offerings.

Given that December is looking to be one of the busiest Christmas box office battlegrounds ever, November saw studios attempting to avoid the mad rush by pre-empting the holiday season, and the results were, well, pretty mixed.

November wasn't host to too many dud movies, though almost all of them were high-profile critical or commercial flops (or, in several cases, both).

Thankfully on the other end of the spectrum, both the art-house and blockbuster spheres gave audiences some terrific feats of cinema to feast on, and Netflix served up one of their most star-studded months yet.

If you haven't yet caught up on everything November had to offer, you might want to do it soon, because December doesn't look to let up.

The next month will see the theatrical releases of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Aquaman, Mortal Engines, Mary Poppins Returns, Bumblebee and Holmes and Watson

Netflix, meanwhile, will serve up the intriguing likes of Andy Serkis' Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, the Jennifer Aniston-starring comedy Dumplin', Best Picture frontrunner Roma and Sandra Bullock's post-apocalyptic horror film Bird Box. Get hype...
