Ranking October 2015's Movies From Worst To Best

11. Goosebumps

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 73% (6.3/10) Box Office: Goosebumps is a rare example of a movie that, despite opening at the #1 spot in its first weekend, could still be considered a box office bomb, having made just $66.3 million against a $58 million budget. The Verdict: Few surely had high expectations going in, so it's a genuine surprise that this adaptation of R.L. Stine's classic series of children's horror books has translated pretty well to the big screen. Sure, it's uneven and more than a little goofy, but it captures the essence of the books, and will function solidly as a slice of nostalgia for older viewers while being something new and exciting for kids. Yes, Jack Black's mugging is going to be a "love it or hate it" affair as usual and the CGI is a mess, but it moves fast, is unexpectedly hilarious, and pays firm respect to the source material.
