Ranking September 2016's Movies - From Worst To Best
8. Brotherhood
RottenTomatoes Score: 64% (5.3/10)
Box Office: Budgetary information is unavailable, but the film grossed an impressive £1.98m in its first seven days on release in the U.K. Given the evidently low budget, it'll be just fine.
Verdict: An impressively mature concluding entry into Noel Clarke's unlikely Hood trilogy, Brotherhood may suffer from some soap opera melodrama and cringe-worthy attempts at humour, but it's also sharply directed by Clarke, and paints a compellingly plausible picture of inner-city British life.
It won't be winning any major awards for its acting or writing, but it's a fitting way to close things out and should effortlessly appeal to those fans who have grown up with these movies.
