Ranking September 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

Reese Witherspoon Home Again
Open Road Films

RottenTomatoes Score: 30% (4.7/10)

Box Office: Smartly and impressively budgeted at just $12 million, Reese Witherspoon's latest rom-com has doubled its budget to date, and will likely find a more comfortable home on streaming services in a few months.

Verdict: A quintessential "first world problems" movie, though Reese Witherspoon is typically charming throughout, it's just hard to care about anything that's happening in this breezy rom-com, and it doesn't help that the film suffers from a depressingly low laugh count.

It's certainly not unbearable or aggressively bad, but it's simply something you'll quickly forget you even watched. It's total cinematic white noise that'll provide a fine enough distraction while you're rearranging your sock draw.
