Ranking The Best Movie In Every Major Comic Book Franchise

18. X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Ignoring how much it confused the timeline by having the sequel to a reboot act as a companion piece to the original trilogy, X-Men: Days of Future marked the finest outing for the James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender era of the franchise.

While it does fall back on once again using Hugh Jackman's Wolverine as the focal point, cast members both old and new all have a part to play, and even Jennifer Lawrence put in much more effort than expected given the obvious disinterest in her contractually-obligated starring role.

Giving fans the best of both worlds, the adaptation of the fabled comic book arc managed to juggle a whole lot of moving parts while still managing to throw in plenty of fan service, and the subsequent disappointments of Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix have only enhanced the movie's reputation.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
