Ranking The Best Movie In Every Major Comic Book Franchise

2. Logan

Batman Blade Wonder Woman
Fox

Hugh Jackman's Wolverine may have become one of the most iconic characters in 21st Century cinema, but it wasn't until his swansong that the actor's portrayal of the character got a standalone movie befitting of such legendary status.

The Wolverine was a huge upgrade on X-Men Origins but it still was hugely formulaic and predictable in places, and with a point to prove, Jackman and director James Mangold reunited to craft what can comfortably be named as one of the greatest comic book movies ever made.

Very few iconic characters get the sendoff they truly deserve, but Jackman's Wolverine most definitely did in a movie that goes heavy on the R-rated violence, but was also emotional enough to leave plenty of audiences sobbing their hearts out as Logan rode off into the sunset for the final time.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
