Ranking The Best Movie In Every Major Comic Book Franchise

27. Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance

Batman Blade Wonder Woman
Columbia Pictures

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance may have been an ever-so-slight improvement over its predecessor, but the fact that the demented minds behind the Crank series failed to wring a half-decent movie out of Nicolas Cage playing a guy with his skull on fire remains a massive missed opportunity.

Free from the distracting bad wig and CGI abs that had blighted the first installment, Spirit of Vengeance is a lot truer to the character than his first cinematic outing, but still suffers from the exact same problems in the script, visual effects and acting departments, even with the usually-reliable Idris Elba and Ciaran Hinds among the ensemble.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
