Ranking: The Biggest Protagonists From 2016's Summer Blockbusters
18. Eric The Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) - The Huntsman: Winter's War
The Role: The impossibly strong and handsome huntsman who is separated from his lover Sara (Jessica Chastain) and cast out by the Ice Queen, Freya (Emily Blunt).
The Hemsworths didn't have much luck this summer (at least in leading roles), did they? Chris may be the God of Thunder, but his performance as the rugged Huntsman left a lot to be desired, especially with regard to his incredibly, hilariously garbled Scottish accent (not that Chastain's is much better at all).
After this and his horrid accent on In the Heart of the Sea, perhaps Hemsworth should just swear off accent work once and for all.
The worst thing of all is that he's just nowhere near as bada** as you'd hope for, and despite the movie being named after him, he's frequently overshadowed by both Blunt and Charlize Theron's returning Queen Ravenna.
