Ranking The Next 10 Superhero Films From Least Anticipated To Most

1. Avengers: Endgame

Avengers Endgame
Marvel Studios

The mere rumor of a trailer for this film has been breaking the internet for the past few weeks and now that the trailer is finally out in the wild, it's busy breaking all kinds of records for Disney and Marvel.

The trailer itself is pretty ingenious, doing a lot to tease a return to a post-Infinity War world without actually revealing much of anything relating to the core plot. It's a safe bet to say that the entirety of footage that makes up this trailer comes from the first act of the film, which is pretty brilliant on Marvel's part. It capitalizes on the fervent buzz already surrounding the film, while also leaving things vague enough to not deny or confirm any of the theories about the film, which in turn feeds the fervent buzz and so on and so forth.

The other element at play here is the fact that Marvel, in every way, is going to be selling this as the end of the MCU. From its title being Endgame, to Tony's "part of the journey is the end" line (which is sure to become a recurring tagline), they're going to go even harder on pushing this as the 'final' chapter than they did on Infinity War.

All in all, it's safe to say that this film will give Infinity War a decent run for its money in terms of opening weekend box office.
